If you would like to learn Socionics by, the key thing to keep in mind is that we use the 'classical' approach, which means everything there is to know about each of the 16 Types can be found their Model A.
Here is an example of a Model A, specifically of the ENTP:
Eight Elements:
Pragmatism (Te), Emotions (Fe).
Eight Functions:
Mobilising (6), Suggestive (5),
Ignoring (7), Demonstrative (8).
Sixteen Types:
Eight black or white shapes in a 2x4 matrix of numbered squares.... what does it mean?
The shapes represent Elements of Information Metabolism. These are dedicated channels for processing eight different kinds of information.
The numbered boxes represent the Functions of Model A. These are the rules that decide how each Type uses each Element.
Every Type has every Element, and what makes them distinct are the different assignments of Elements to Functions.
