The Mobilising Function

The 6th function of Model A is the Mobilising function, also known as the 'Hidden Agenda'. It is the aspirational part of the psyche, a secondary motivator but unstable and carrying the risk of failure. It grows with confidence into conceitedness before its eventual fall.

The Mobilising function is defined by the following dichotomies:

  1. Public vs Private
  2. Strong vs Weak
  3. Valued vs Neglected
  4. Obvious vs Subtle
  5. Constant vs Variable
  6. Stubborn vs Flexible
  7. Demanding vs Supplying

It forms the Superid block with the Suggestive function.

It forms the Growth transition with the Demonstrative function.

It forms the Hubris dynamic with the Vulnerable function.
